To out-compete chain tutoring services you need to design superior promotional materials and offer services that the chains don’t offer. For example you can promote your services by focusing on your willingness to come to the student instead of having to drive to a tutoring center. The key to attracting customers is to find an angle that makes your services more valuable than your competition and then promote the heck out of that angle.

You may want to talk about what steps you take to tutor students for this test, what materials you use or your students’ success rate.
